The validity period of the Peruvian Immigration Card is four (04) years for resident citizens.
In the case of adults with permanent immigration status, the duration is 5 years and, in the case of minors, the duration is 3 years.

Special permission to sign contracts

Change of immigration status for resident worker

For reasons of immigration status

- Independent professionals: They will be allowed to exercise their profession independently, in turn, they will be able to issue receipts for professional fees.
- Argentine citizens residing by agreement: The residency granted is for two years, will be subject to the payment of the Annual Foreigners Tax within 90 days before its expiration, and must mandatorily require the definitive residence. If they do not, they will lose their immigration status.
